Here at the farm we often have dogs and cats available for adoption through one of our local programs. We foster animals for the Bourbon County Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program and would like to show them off here on our site in hopes that they might find their forever homes.

Kissie

Name: Kissie
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 2 years
Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

**Not recommended for horses or other livestock**

Kissie is a loving girl who gets along great with other dogs, and dog friendly cats. She loves attention, but can get a little nervous around very small children so kids under 10yrs are not recommended. She has completed a basic obedience course and knows "sit", "lie down", "stay", and she comes when called. She is working on "roll over", "sit pretty" and "crawl". She knows a hand command for "down" and will do it without vocal cues. She is very smart, and loves to have a job. Kissie will require an energectic family with plenty of time to devote to her. Her best friend is Dolly, who is also available for adoption.

Dolly

Gender: Spayed Female
Age: ~ 5 years
Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Dolly is a sweet, caring girl who gets along great with everyone she meets including dogs, cats, and kids. She adores being cuddled, and loves to give kisses. Dolly is a moderatly active dog and would do best in an active home. She does know how to sit and lie down and is working on other tricks. She came to us with a litter of puppies who have now all found homes of their own. Dollys best friend is Kissie who is also available for adoption.

Henry

Name: Henry
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: ~ 10 Months
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

Henry was dumped outside of our farm, and his people were never located. He is a fun little guy with plenty of get up and go. He is an energentic boy who would benefit from an active lifestyle. He does great on the farm with the horses, and comes when he is called. Henry loved other dogs, cats, and is great with kids. He walks very well on leash, and is well mannered. He is crate trained and house trained.
