Dam: Slew Plate Special (Slew The Slewor) Buttons is a lovely mare with a phenomenal personality. She is a homebred, and has been handled daily since birth. Buttons is correct, with good bone and feet. She has three balanced and elastic gaits and shows very good form over fences. Buttons has been started under saddle and is working W/T/C and has schooled small fences. Still learning to work into the bridle from the leg. Buttons has been on vacation simply due to lack of time to keep the young horses going at this time. She has been turned out for a bit, and is now ready to start back into work. Was working quietly in a snaffle when she was in full work. While still very green, she has always been willing. Would be best suited to a rider with experience bringing green/young horses along. Great project for someone looking for a talented youngster to bring up the levels. Price dramatically reduced from $4,500 to reflect the current econemy, and the fact that Buttons has been on vacation.

Lovely, athletic mare with a wonderful personality. Slew was hand selected for our sporthorse breeding program for her exceptional movement, her conformation, as well as her A+ personality. Her pedigree is a model for future event horse breeding, including such horses as Buckpasser. She is a wonderful mom, and passes along her temperment and gaits to her foals, including Bridle Party (listed above). She is not a big mare, and would be a great addition to a sportpony breeding program. We have ridden Slew a handfull of times and she has always done well. She is, however, not is work, nor have we ever had her in full work, as she has been a broodmare, and babysitter for us. She is only offered to a great, loving home as we are working to downsize our program. Slew does require front shoes, but is otherwise an easy keeper.
